Filo’s Story

It begins with a dream.

Mysterious images keep coming to Filo in his sleep. Images of ocean waves and rock formations and strange creatures. He makes drawings to remember it all, but none of it makes much sense. And then there’s the woman. Who is she? What does she want? And does this dream bring a message, a warning, or something else? His determination to find out will reveal more than he ever could have imagined, and take him on a journey through mountains and ancient temples, beneath seas, and even to the other side of life itself.

Filo’s Story is an epic adventure comic book created, written, and drawn by the Deligiannis Bros.

It began with a drawing.

Filo through the years. He's been with us a long time.

We were in college when Emmanuel drew a sketch of a small boy wearing a laurel wreath in his curly hair. He named him Filo, and he’s been a constant in our lives ever since.

Over the years, we crafted his story, revisiting it time and again before shifting our focus to the next pressing thing in life - but always coming back to it. Filo’s story - much like Filo himself - went through many revisions and iterations since that first sketch. Until one day, they both just…were. Filo had a life, and he had a story.

Now all we had to do was draw it.

We got a story to tell.
